We often do repairs after electricians and plumbers have cut open the plaster to upgrade or fix the wiring or pipes.

When a tub or toilet overflows, a roof leaks, or a water pipe springs a leak, it causes water damage on the ceiling or the floor below. We often repair water damage to ceilings and can even work with your insurance company if you choose to file a claim.

Many of the homes here in Massachusetts have plaster ceilings and walls that are over 100 years old. These surfaces usually have plaster that is spider-web cracking and sagging away from the wooden lath behind it. We can resecure the plaster to the lath and replaster the surface, or install thin 1/4" gypsum board over the old plaster and then finish. Either method produces a solid, crack-free wall or ceiling.
